Carrying your baby in a sling or carrier has many practical and emotional benefits for baby and for you.
This session will give you the confidence to carry your baby safely and comfortably, helping you to adjust to this new life as a family and helping your baby adjust to this new world.
This is a 2 hr session for both parents to attend and will cover:
- The benefits of carrying your baby in the 4th trimester
- Overview of types of slings
- How to carry your baby safely and comfortably
- Demo of PWCC with a stretchy wrap
- Chance to practise and try out a large selection of slings
This includes a 30 minute consultation in your home after your baby is born where again you try on slings or we can help you with your own sling.
As consultants we have access to many discounts from various retailers and can pass this on to clients and advise on where to buy.
Facilitated by Katherine and Zoe, who are both trained and insured sling consultants (both with degrees - Katherine in Fine Art and Zoe in Psychology). Katherine is a mum to 3 and runs Surrey Hills Sling Social as well as "Carrying Stories Sling Consultancy" and supporting the sling library. Zoe is a mum to 3 and runs Dorking NCT sling library and "The Sling Consultancy".
