LAURA WORSFOLD - PRINCIPLE OSTEOPATH
D.O.BSC (HONS) OST. BSC (Hons) DIP PT. DIP ST

"My interest in health and how the body works, first began at school where I enjoyed playing an array of different sports. In 2002 i qualified as a Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist, gaining a good understanding of sports injuries and rehabilitation. I then went on to study Sports Science and Psychology at university as my first degree, working alongside athletes.

This gave me an interest in learning more about the bio-mechanics of the body, which in turn, led me to study for an Osteopathy degree, where I qualified from the European School of Osteopathy. After completing a 4-year degree course, comprising of Cranial, Structural and Visceral Osteopathy, I continued post graduate level training in Cranial Osteopathy at the Sutherland Cranial College in London, and Biodynamic Osteopathy in Helsinki, Madrid and London, where I also expanded my knowledge of Obstetrics and Paediatrics. Since then, I have qualified as a pregnancy massage therapist, baby massage practitioner and more recently an infant feeding coach which includes assessing latching issues such as tongue tie, breast feeding position and myofunctional techniques, which are very effective in the pre and post care to a tongue tie division.

I have worked in a number of paediatric clinics, working closely with midwives, health visitors and lactation consultants to help nursing mothers and infants with latching difficulties, such as tongue tie.

I am a member of the GOsC (General Osteopathic Council) and truly enjoy my work. With all the knowledge I have gathered over the years, both through formal training and experience gained in practice, I feel that I can give patients a wealth of information and the practical treatments to aid them in becoming healthier and ultimately pain free."

Faye Burge
Faye Burge
(Musculoskeletal & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist) BSc MSc

Over the last 13 years of clinical practice Faye has developed a two-fold passion for both musculoskeletal physiotherapy and pelvic health physiotherapy. Her curiosity was sparked when she realised a significant over-lap in the cause of pain between the two fields. She has worked across some of London's most elite clinics and has become a trusted source of education for her clients. She understands that the goal isn't an absence of dysfunction, but encourages her patients to seek a better sense of self. She has honed her skills for both and is a firm believer in utilising her knowledge of rehabilitation to ensure a speedy recovery.

She studied Sports Science at Edinburgh University which led to a two year Masters at Edinburgh's Queen Margaret's University studying Physiotherapy. She has since become a member of the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP), and has spent years crafting rehabilitation for sports injuries and pre and postnatal patients. Training from the POGP enables Faye to treat female urinary incontinence, prolapse and pre and post-natal associated pain and dysfunction.

Her 16 year dance history, coupled with APPI Pilates training and yoga teacher training makes Faye the ideal educator on the importance of rehabilitative breath work and core training. Faye's eye for detail when analysing and treating movement dysfunctions have helped many runners perform to their best ability, be it a returning mum wishing to start a couch to 5km or elites to competition level.

Faye understands the stresses and demands placed upon new mums (being one herself), and as such takes great pride in helping them to safely explore exercise, increase their confidence by strengthening and stand tall to feel like themselves again post birth.
